Mad Cow Theatre in downtown Orlando presents Hair The Musical, with showings recurring weekly, Thursdays through Sundays, beginning June 12th and running through July, 6th, 2014.

Hair is an electric celebration on stage. This exuberant musical about a group of young Americans searching for peace and love in a turbulent time has struck a resonant chord with audiences young and old. Featuring an extraordinary cast and unforgettable songs, including "Aquarius," "Let the Sun Shine In," "Good Morning Starshine" and "Easy To Be Hard," its relevance is undeniable and its energy is unbridled.

The cast of Hair features the Mad Cow debut of Byron DeMent as Claude, Jaymeson Metz as Berger and Heather Kopp as Sheila. Also featured are Mad Cow regulars Felichia Chivaughn (The Mountaintop), Betsy Bauer (The Matchmaker), and Clinton Harris (Dreamgirls, The Mountaintop). Filling out the ensemble is Luis Gabriel Diaz (The Light in the Piazza), and also in their Mad Cow debut performances are Joanna Yeakel, Erick Perafan, Katrina Johnson, Lindsey Gradwohl, Krystal Gillette, Jamaal K. Solomon, Sean Michael Flynn, Eric Desnoyers, and Jake Mullen.

Direction by Elena Day (Everyman, Life Is a Dream). Music Direction by Philip King (Next to Normal, Dreamgirls) and choreography by Ellie Potts Barrett (Guys and Dolls). Rounding out the creative team for Hair, we have lighting design by Joe Oshry (Death of a Salesman), costume design by Leslye Menshouse in her Mad Cow debut, set design by William Elliott (Other Desert Cities, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), props design by Frank Siano (Cat on a Hot Tin RoofThe Light in the Piazza) scenic painting by Lisa Buck (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Enchanted April), and stage management by Gail Eve Malatesta.
